WPU students learn early on in college that presentation is important. Through Showcase, they learn to communicate, collaborate, and share.

Each spring, William Peace University students take a day off from classes to participate in our annual Showcase, a celebration of the academic year when they share their research presentations, performances, poetry readings, debates, cross-disciplinary creative projects, and much more.

“Showcase exemplifies the outstanding educational experience students have at William Peace University. Our students pushed themselves to be at their absolute best with the support of our dedicated faculty.”

Meagan Kittle-Autry, Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs

In 2019, more than 220 students presented their outstanding work in art, research, internships and their contributions to the academic experience of the University.

  • 15th annual Showcase
  • 220+ student presentations and performances
  • Nearly 30 majors represented
  • 28 presentation sessions + panels
  • 21 academic accolades awarded to students

A special feature of Showcase is the keynote presentation during the break for lunch to celebrate the day’s festivities. In 2018, Showcase keynote Becky Jacobs, CEO of Simple Change, shared a message in theme with her company’s mission statement, to help shape the performance of groups or individuals by utilizing well being as a leadership tool.

In 2016, WPU students within the Simulation & Game Design program presented their virtual reality (VR) tour of campus at Showcase. The project was designed over a semester’s time by four senior students.
